Barcode scanner function in the order editor

Description:
The order editor allows you to read in the article number using a barcode scanner and thus significantly speed up your workflow.
Procedure with hardware barcode scanner
If you are using a barcode scanner, please set it up so that it functions as a keyboard. Then go to the "Item number" field and scan your barcode. The article number will be automatically inserted into the field and you will receive a list of matching articles as if you had entered the article number manually.
Procedure on mobile devices
MAIA also supports you when entering the article number on mobile devices. The barcode is recognised via the camera function of your mobile device and the appropriate product is selected.
- Click on the barcode symbol next to the article number
- The barcode scanner dialogue opens, which you can use to scan the barcode.
- As soon as the barcode is recognised, the article number is entered and the matching product is searched for. If the article number is unique, the product is selected immediately.
The barcode scanner on your mobile device supports the following barcodes:
- Code 128
- EAN
- Code 39
- UPC
- UPC_e
- Interleaved 2 of 5
- 2 of 5
- Code 93
Only Code 128 is active by default. Click on Settings 
in the dialogue window to set the active codes. Your selection will be saved in your browser so that you are automatically selected in future. Please note: the more codes that are active, the poorer the recognition accuracy. You should therefore ensure that you only have the codes active that you actually use.
