Error pages such as the 404 page are often neglected, even though they play a crucial role in the user experience. When a user encounters a non-existent page, a customised error page offers the opportunity to turn this error into a positive experience. With the component editor in TYRIOS, you can create engaging error pages that represent your brand and point users in helpful directions on your website.

Solution:

To create an appealing error page, proceed as follows.

  1. Go to the customer area as a user with extended rights > System > Manage error pages View of the backend for managing the error pages
  2. Click on "New" in the overview
  3. Select the error type and enter a title and content Detail view of the editor to manage error pages
  4. Click on Save

    As soon as the error page is marked as "active", it will be used.

Tips und Tricks:

Only one error page is possible for each error code. If you try to store multiple pages for the same error code, you will receive a corresponding error message.
