  • How can I provide my customer with a product export?

Description:

Especially in the B2B environment, it is often necessary to provide the customer with a product export for their own merchandise management system. TYRIOS offers two options for this:

  1. TYRIOS offers you the function of providing a separate product API for each customer. This allows your customer to access all product information - including images, videos, descriptions and stock levels - in real time and also to place orders directly via the interface. Your customer can thus sell your products optimally and also fully automate dropshipping.
  2. TYRIOS offers a user-specific product export in CSV format. All relevant product master data including image URLs are offered. The customer can access the export at any time using his personal access data.

Both in the product export and in the customer API, the customer's individual purchase prices are displayed. 

Solution:

In this entry, we will limit ourselves to providing the user-specific product export.

  1. As a user with extended rights, go to the customer area > User management > Manage users.
  2. Search for the user to whom the product export should be made available.
  3. Click on Edit user in the line menu. The user editor opens
  4. Click on the "Product management" tab.
  5. Activate the "Provide user-specific product export" function
    1. If you also want to output the stock level, also click on "Output stock levels". The total stock level is then displayed.
  6. Save the user.

The user-specific product export is carried out once a day. The user will now be included in the next run. As soon as the export has been provided, the user has a link to download the file in their customer profile.

The export is a comma-separated CSV file in the RFC 4180 standard. The file is UTF-8 encoded and takes the customer's language into account. However, numbers are always output in English format (i.e. with a full stop instead of a comma) and unrounded, so that the file can be read by standard merchandise management systems and ERP systems.
