Create delivery note

To create a delivery note, proceed as follows:

1. As a user with extended rights, go to the customer area > Order management > Manage orders
2. Search for the relevant order and click on the display icon to display the order
3. In the order options at the top right, you will find the "Create receipt from order" function. Click to open the receipt editor.
4. In the document properties, select "Delivery note" as the type (invoice is usually preselected here)
5. Click on "Save delivery note".
6. You will return to the order view and receive a confirmation of your action.

You will find the delivery note together with all other receipts in the receipt overview and in the order itself in the "Receipts" tab. Here you can download the receipt or print it directly.

Posting with stock movement

By default, no warehouse is selected when a voucher is created. This means that no stock movement is created when the document is saved. If you want to link a stock movement to the delivery note, go to "Warehouse" in the "Voucher properties" area of the voucher editor and select the warehouse in which the stock movement is to be carried out.

If you always want to use delivery notes for stock movements, you can specify in the system that a warehouse should always be selected for delivery notes. Proceed as follows:

1. As a user with extended rights, go to the customer area > Order management
2. Click on "Manage document types" under Settings and select the "Edit document type" function for the "Delivery note" document type (in the data menu on the right)
3. Activate the setting "Warning if stock is missing"
4. Save the document type

From now on, a warning is issued if no warehouse has been stored.

If you want to prevent a warehouse from being selected because the warehouse movement is to be created with a different document type, you can also specify here that the warehouse selection should be avoided.
