DATEV export in order management

Description:
Invoices, credit notes and other sales-based documents can be transferred directly from TYRIOS to your accounting department via the integrated DATEV interface. TYRIOS supports two different modes:
- Export as DATEV export in CSV format. This file can be imported directly into your accounting programme or by your tax consultant.
- Export as DATEV export incl. attachments. In this format, all receipts are provided as a PDF in ZIP format in addition to the DATEV file. This allows your accounting department and your tax consultant to add the relevant receipts directly to the booking. This makes your tax audit much easier.
Solution:
- Click on Order management in the customer area
- Here you will find the "Create DATEV export" function in the Export area - provided you have the appropriate authorisations
- Select the start date and the end date. All documents within these two limits will then be taken into account (inclusive in each case).
- Select the vouchers to be included in the export. All document types that are relevant to turnover are available to you. These are invoices and quotations by default.
- Enter the tax advisor's advisor number, the mandate number and the start date of the financial year. You will receive all this data from the tax advisor. However, experience has shown that most accounting systems allow you to ignore this data. The content is then not really relevant.
- TYRIOS now provides you with corresponding input fields for all tax rates that appear in the documents to determine to which accounting account the postings should be made. If your vouchers contain several tax rates, several posting records will be generated accordingly.
- Specify whether vouchers should also be exported as attachments.
- Click on "Create". The DATEV export is started and downloaded directly.
Tips and Tricks:
The entry of the corresponding settings is saved in the system. Therefore, only the first export is time-consuming. For the second export, it is usually only necessary to specify the date.
If you want other document types to be included in the DATEV export (e.g. proforma, invoice corrections, cancellation invoices), you must specify in the documents that these documents are relevant to sales:
- In the customer area, go to Order management > Settings > Manage document types
- Click on "Edit document type" for the corresponding document type
- Depending on the document type, select to generate or reduce sales.
- Save the document type
From now on, the document type is taken into account in the DATEV export.
Common errors
- Make sure that all fields are filled in. A DATEV export is only possible if you have entered the consultant number, the mandate number, the start date of the financial year and the posting accounts of all tax rates.
