Define bottom side as top side
Questions:
- Why can I make a subpage the top page in the content management system?
Description:
Let's assume you have two sides:
- Side A
- Page B
Let's assume that page B is a subpage of page A. Page A is directly below the start page, i.e. on level 2. Page A is directly below the start page - i.e. on level 2. The page structure looks like this:
Homepage
|- Side A
|- Page B
Solution:
If you now want to define page B as the top page, you must proceed as follows.
- As a user with extended rights, go to the Customer Area > Content Management > Manage Pages.
- Drag and drop page B onto the same level as page A.
- Drag page A under page B
The changes are applied directly and the page structure is as desired.
Tips and Tricks:
In the constellation described, it is not possible to drag page B directly above page A. This is because page A is on hierarchy level 2. You would therefore have to place page B on hierarchy level 1, but only the start page is permitted on this level. Therefore, you must proceed in two steps in this case.
If page A is on level 3 and page B on level 4, a direct reordering would be possible.
