Deposit / exchange stationery

Description:

TYRIOS manages the stationery for invoices, quotations and orders in a central location in the system settings. This makes it possible to realise a consistent external image with minimal effort.

Solution:

By default, TYRIOS automatically creates a letter template for you from the system settings. If you do not have any other template, you do not need to do anything other than enter the necessary company information.

  1. As a user with extended rights, go to Customer Area > System > System Configuration.
  2. Enter your company data in the "System Data Management" section.
  3. Save the settings.

If you want to save a letter template, you must first save the template as a PDF. Then save the template as follows:

  1. As a user with extended rights, go to the Customer Area > System > System Configuration.
  2. Click on the area "System Data Management
  3. Click on the subsection "Default PDF Template
  4. Now store the desired templates via the media library. TYRIOS supports any number of different templates. These will then be offered for selection later, e.g. in the document editor.
     

Tips and Tricks:

If you want to replace an existing template, you can also use the method described above. Note, however, that existing legacy documents can still use the old template if the file name or path of the template changes. When exchanging a template, the following procedure is therefore simpler:

  1. As a user with extended rights, go to the customer area > System > Manage media.
  2. Search for the corresponding template
  3. Click on Edit > Replace in the menu
  4. Select the new file in the dialogue. The old template is replaced by the new one.
