Questions:
- Why doesn't my order get an order date?
- Why do I see orders in draft mode?
Description:
TYRIOS order has a powerful order management system in which not only the orders of your online shop, but also all reservations, quotation requests, telephone orders and manual orders are centrally recorded in one place. This enables you to work in the customer channel - i.e. to accept orders independently of your customer's touch point and to continue them at any level of communication - whether by phone, Whatsapp, Skype, online or offline, on the website or at the checkout.
To make the status of your order traceable, TYRIOS supports a primary and a secondary status. The primary statuses are predefined as:
- In draft
- In progress
- Completed.
You can define and change the secondary status as you wish.
As long as an order has not yet been commissioned, your order is in the primary status "In draft". In this state there is therefore no order date and in the standard configuration the order would be displayed to the user in the shopping basket at any time. The shopping basket is therefore the central interface for the customer to manage and process orders that have not yet been placed. This applies to classic online orders, but even more so to offers. So you can fill the customer's shopping cart in real time and the customer can then complete these offers via the online shop. A classic offer, your online shop and your shopping cart merge.
There are two ways to turn an offer (order with primary status "In draft") into a commissioned order:
- The customer orders via the online shop functionality
- You change the status manually via the order management.
The last process in particular makes it possible for you to accept orders completely via social media such as Facebook, Whatsapp, Skype or telephone. The process is identical to an online shop order. The customer also receives all the corresponding mail notifications. This makes your online presence more visible and more aware. Your distribution scales.
With the change to the primary status "In process", the system records all legal pages (general terms and conditions, cancellation policy), sends the corresponding status emails to the customer and assigns the order date.
