Individual checks for manual quotationsTargeted deactivation of the reminder email

The aim of this guide is to show you how to disable the automatic reminder email for specific orders. This is particularly useful for manually created quotations or personal arrangements, where a standardised email would seem inappropriate or too ‘robotic’.

In the following steps, you will learn how to configure this setting directly in the order management section. This allows you to retain full control over your customer communications and ensures that your personalised service always remains the priority and is not disrupted by automated processes.

Disabling the shopping basket reminderIndividuelle Kontrolle für Ihre Angebote

A personalised offer is often the result of an in-depth consultation. At such times, an automated email can come across as impersonal or disrupt the flow of your negotiations. To ensure that the trust you have painstakingly built up is not undermined by a robotic message, TYRIOS gives you the freedom to specifically disable the automated system for individual cases.

You retain full control over your customer communications, whilst the system continues to reliably recover all other abandoned shopping baskets for you in the background. This allows you to combine efficient automation with genuine, personalised sales.

  1. Open the order in the editor

Find and open the relevant order in the Order Editor. In the edit screen , look for the switch labelled ‘Reminder email for abandoned basket enabled’. This switch is set to ‘On’ (enabled) by default.

  2. Toggle the switch off and save

Click on the ‘Enable reminder email for abandoned basket’ switch to disable it, then save the order. Once the switch is set to ‘Off’, no automatic reminder will be sent for this specific order – even if the waiting period specified in the status expires.

  3. Reactivating the memory when required

If you would like the customer to receive automatic reminders again, you can set the ‘Reminder email for abandoned basket’ toggle back to ‘On’ at any time. The order will then be processed for dispatch in accordance with the normal rules (delay and maximum age).

Tips for customising reminder emailsImportant information about the reminder function

Please note that the toggle for the reminder email depends directly on your shop’s global status settings. If no reminder function has been enabled for the current order status (for example, ‘Shopping basket’), this switch will have no effect – in this case, no email will be sent anyway.

Use this deactivation feature specifically for individual offers or negotiated prices. This prevents customers receiving personalised service from receiving an automated message that might come across as an impersonal mass email.

If a reminder has already been sent for this order and you subsequently turn the switch off, no further reminders will be sent for this specific transaction. The function will remain paused until you manually switch it back on.
