How do I manage my products?

TYRIOS offers two different ways to manage your products. On the one hand, you can do this in a backend area, but on the other hand, you can also manage your products directly in the frontend, which your customers also use. TYRIOS uses the integrated rights system for this. This allows you to define which specific functions are available to a user. Admin users generally have access to all functions.

Creating a product

To create a product, go to

Customer area > Product management > Create product

You will be taken to the product editor, which offers different tabs depending on the specific installation. Depending on the product data you enter, the editor can be further customised (e.g. for events).

If there are already products in the relevant category, you will also find a "Create article" link directly in the frontend. This means that when you are in the frontend, you do not have to go to the backend to create a new article.

Editing a product

You have several options here.

1. You can access the product via the backend function. To do this, click on
   
   Customer area > Product management > Manage products
   
   You will see a tabular list of all products stored in the system. you can quickly find the desired product using the corresponding filter functions. In the right-hand column, you have the necessary functions for editing the item.

   

2. You can search for the product directly in the frontend. The advantage of this approach: You have to search the way your customer would search. In this way, you can quickly identify weak points in the category hierarchy and optimise them in a more targeted manner.
   
   Once you have found the desired item, the necessary functions are available both in the overview and in the item detail view (at the bottom of the page), provided you have the appropriate rights

   

3. The same functions are also available to you in all other overviews. This applies to search results as well as to product links (similar items, etc.).
