Link PDF in the editor
Description:
You often want to provide visitors with a PDF for printing. This can be done in just a few steps via the media library.
Solution:
We assume that you are already in the editor.
- Enter the download text in the editor, e.g. "PDF download"
- Select the text and click on the link symbol
. The link dialogue opens. - Click on "Search server". The media library opens
- Upload the PDF to the media library. You can upload it to any folder - either via drag & drop or by clicking on the "Upload" button.
- Select the PDF and click OK
- The link to the PDF is now displayed in the link dialogue
- Click OK, the link is set.
Our tip
Some browsers open the PDF directly in the browser. We therefore recommend that you select the "_blank" target in the "Target" tab in the link dialogue. This will open the PDF in a new tab.
