Macro: Document stream

The macro document stream allows you to display documents from your content management system dynamically based on a filter and search setting. These can be the latest blog posts, but also all posts on a specific product or with a specific topic. The individual documents do not have to be selected manually. Instead, you can use the powerful search and recommendation logic of ShopOnTarget or ContentOnTarget*.

* Prerequisite: You use ShopOnTarget or ContentOnTarget as part of TYRIOS.

To integrate a document stream into your page, select the "Document stream" macro. A dialogue window appears with all the necessary setting options:

The following setting options are available:

1. Search: Define search terms here to narrow down all documents in the content management system. The search is error-tolerant as usual, but no spelling corrections are automatically carried out. You can find all documents with the search term "*:*"
2. Limit the possible documents with additional filters . The 10 most relevant filter settings are offered for each filter size.
3. The order of your documents is determined by the sorting
   • Relevance: sorts all documents so that the document that is viewed most frequently, commented on most frequently and best matches the search query is in first place.
   • Relevance with time: like Relevance, but also takes into account the age of the document so that new documents appear further forward.
   • Chronological backwards: displays the newest document first.
   • Chronological: displays the oldest document first.
   • Name ascending: Sorts the documents alphabetically by document name (title of the page).
4. A document stream can be displayed in two ways: The display is limited to the top 20 documents
   • Single-line: All documents are displayed in one line. The user can scroll horizontally using a slider function
   • Multi-line: All documents are displayed in a box view.
5. You can specify that the first document is highlighted. In this case, a teaser text is also displayed (in the standard design).
6. Here you can see the results list based on the current search and filter settings.

The macro is inserted into the page when it is saved. The content is calculated in real time each time it is called up so that you always receive an up-to-date document list.
