Managing Legal Documents in Multiple Languages in TYRIOS
Questions:
- Can I manage legal documents in multiple languages in TYRIOS?
- Are legal document versions saved separately for each language?
- How do I switch languages when editing legal documents?
- What happens if a translation is missing?
Description:
TYRIOS allows you to create, edit, and publish legal documents in multiple languages, making it easy to run international websites or shops.
Each language (locale) has its own independent version of every legal document, such as Imprint, Privacy Policy, or Terms & Conditions.
This means changes in one language do not affect other languages.
You can safely manage translations while keeping legal content accurate and compliant for every region.
Solution:
Managing Legal Documents in Multiple Languages
- Log in to your TYRIOS as 'Admin'
- Go to System → Manage Legal Documents
- Use the language or locale switcher at the top of the page
- Select the language you want to edit (for example, English or German)
- Open the legal document you want to update
- Edit the content for that specific language
- Publish the document separately for that language
👉 Repeat these steps for each language you support.
Tips and Tricks:
💡Key things to keep in mind
-
Each language must be edited and published separately
-
Publishing in one language does not publish others automatically
-
Always check that all supported languages are published
-
Missing translations may show a default or fallback language
-
Keep legal wording consistent across languages to avoid confusion
