Media library

Pictures say more than 1,000 words. A good website lives from them, because they appeal to the emotions of the visitor and at the same time make a product more tangible. TYRIOS therefore provides a cross-system media library. It not only supports images, but also other media such as

• Videos (although we generally recommend the use of YouTube),
• Documents (Word, PDF,...),
• Zip files and
• Audio files.

The media library allows centralised management of all media. Several aspects take centre stage here:

• Security: All uploaded files are checked - regardless of which user uploads the files. Provided that the server configuration is appropriate, this also includes an explicit virus check with an installed virus protection programme.
• Quality assurance: The media library checks whether images fulfil the necessary requirements for use as soon as they are uploaded. If the image is too small, the user is proactively informed. At the same time, TYRIOS optimises the size and quality of the images via the media library. The user can upload images directly and does not have to edit them in an image editing programme first.
• Centralised storage: All media used in the system are stored centrally in the media library. The higher quality image is then used wherever the image is used.

Media management

TYRIOS provides a central media library that can be administered via an intuitive management interface. This is available both as a user-specific library and as a cross-system library.

Media selection

To use media in a product description, in the content management system or in user administration, TYRIOS consistently accesses the media library via so-called media widgets. This makes media selection simple, efficient and sustainable.

Automatic image optimisation

Depending on the application, media must be made available to the end user in different views, formats and qualities. TYRIOS creates the necessary images fully automatically so that you don't have to worry about anything.

Rights management

TYRIOS also relies on granular rights management for images. Not only is cross-system and user-specific media management available. You can also define for each medium who is allowed to see it and who is not.
