Phone number as a required field in orders

- How can I make the phone number a mandatory field during ordering?
Description:
Particularly in the case of forwarding deliveries, but also for speciality shops, it may be necessary to have the telephone number for an optimal delivery. TYRIOS can query this fully automatically.
Please note
The telephone number is personal data. According to the GDPR, you must therefore have a good reason why it is necessary to request the telephone number.
Solution:
- Go as administrator to the customer area > System
- Click on System settings
- Select the "Shop administration" area
- Activate the setting "Telephone as mandatory information"
From now on, the telephone number will be requested as part of the contact details.
Tips and Tricks:
You can enter a contact telephone number at any time in the order editor. If a contact telephone number is stored in the customer's user data, it is automatically entered here.
