Create products or items

To be able to create an article, you must be logged into the system with your access data and have the appropriate rights. You then have three options for creating an article:

• In the customer area via the "Create article" function
• In the customer area via the product management
• Directly on the page of your shop

As soon as you have opened the user interface for product editing, you can continue editing the product.

Create product via the "Create article" function

1. Navigate to the "Create article" button in the customer area under Product management in the "Product" section. Click on it to open the user interface for editing products.

Create articles via the article management

• Customer area

• Manage articles

1. Navigate to the "Manage articles" button in the customer area under Product management in the "Articles" section. Click on it to open the overview of all items in your shop.
   Click on the button to create a new item at the top of your toolbar. If you click on it, the user interface for creating articles opens.

Create articles directly from the shop page

1. open your shop page in the browser and click on the "Create article" link

Edit article

2. Enter the basic data for your article
   1. In the "Basic data" tab:
      Optional: enter an article number for your article
   2. Specify a name for your item in the "Basic data" tab
   3. In the "Basic data" tab:
      Optional: enter a short description for your item. This will appear on your receipt or in the order management.
   4. In the "Basic data" tab
      Optional: Enter a description of the item. This will then appear in the shop in the product detail view under the item
   5. In the "Basic data" tab
      Should your customers be able to see the item or is it only intended for you and your clerks? Tick the "Public" box accordingly
   6. In the "Basic data" tab
      Should your customers be allowed to order or buy the item or not? Tick the "Shopping basket function activated" box accordingly
   7. In the "Basic data" tab
      Should your customers be able to request a quote for this item directly in the shopping basket or not? Tick the "Offer function activated" box accordingly
   8. In the "Basic data" tab
      Under "Condition", specify whether this item is a new, used or refurbished product
   9. In the "Basic data" tab
      Under "Unit", specify the unit in which the item is sold (per piece, per metre, per kilogram, etc.)
3. Optional: Enter item details in the "Details" tab
4. Enter prices and delivery costs in the "Price" tab
   1. Enter the standard price. Click on the gross-net button to set the price accordingly.
   2. Optional: specify whether the price should be displayed to everyone or only to certain people with the appropriate authorisation or not to anyone. Tick the corresponding checkboxes for Show price publicly and Show price for users with authorisation
   3. Optional: specify whether the item is free of shipping costs. Tick the appropriate box next to Free shipping
   4. Optional: specify the amount of additional shipping costs. If there are no additional shipping costs, you can leave this field empty
   5. Optional: indicate whether the item will not be dispatched. Tick the appropriate box for collection by the customer (no shipping costs)
   6. Enter the appropriate tax rate for the item
5. In the "Categories" tab, specify the category in which the item should be displayed. (Multiple selection is possible)
6. Optional: Add images in the "Media" tab
   1. Enter a preview image. This image appears, for example, when checking out in the shopping basket, in order management or in the checkout
   2. Add images for the detail view. These images appear in the shop in the category overview and in the detailed view of the item in the shop

Once you have entered all non-optional details, you can click on the "Save" button below.
