TYRIOS - Version 6.0
Questions:
- What’s new in version 6.0
Description:
TYRIOS is available in version 6.0. In the new TYRIOS version, fundamental changes have been made to the handling of payment procedures. The version is therefore no longer backwards compatible and manual changes must be made to the existing installations for the update.
New payment system for managing payment methods
The effort was worth it: TYRIOS has been given a completely new payment system that can now be customised even more quickly and easily to meet individual requirements and ideas. The centrepiece is a central management system for payment methods, in which the shop operator can create, configure and manage any number of payment options. The special thing about it: each payment method can be stored with so-called payment providers, which carry out and manage the payment fully automatically. Such payment providers are currently
- PayPal: Here we have realised a payment provider based on the latest REST interface, which allows the customer to conveniently pay with their PayPal account. The implementation is completely new and the shop requires new REST access data for the update.
- Sofort bank transfer: Here, too, we have used the latest interface so that payment will be even smoother. It is no longer necessary to configure the URL callbacks manually.
- Klarna invoice and instalment purchases : Klarna's invoice and instalment purchases have also been implemented as separate payment providers so that they can be conveniently used in the online shop. Depending on the configuration, Klarna can also conveniently display the instalment costs incurred in the item view.
- Santander Finanzkauf: Santander Finanzkauf allows another instalment purchase payment as a payment provider. In contrast to Klarna, however, the customer still has to submit a financing application at the end.
- Heidelpay credit card: Payment by credit card is still one of the most popular payment methods. Heidelpay is now a powerful payment provider with which payment can be activated securely and in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Heidelpay direct debit: Pay for your order conveniently by direct debit. On request, the account details entered can be checked, including creditworthiness, to avoid payment defaults.
- Heidelpay invoice: Heidelpay also offers payment on invoice for private individuals, so that the currently most popular payment method can be offered via this payment provider.
All payment providers independently ensure that they can also be used for the current order. Klarna or Heidelpay invoice, for example, is only possible for B2C orders.
A payment provider can be stored in any number of payment methods. This means you can use different settings for B2B customers than for B2C customers, and different settings for regular customers than for new customers. There are no restrictions.
But it's not just the payment providers that make the system significantly more powerful: each payment method can now be extensively expanded with descriptions:
- For selecting the payment method
- For the display before order completion
- For the display after order completion
- For the order confirmation
- For the order details page
It is now also possible to define a transfer fee (e.g. for surname), which is incurred separately on delivery and is not part of the order and invoice. Of course, all legal requirements and the recommendations of Trusted Shops are observed.
Optimised calculation of shipping costs before the order process is initiated
In addition to these extensive changes, another small change has made it into the version: An outstanding special feature in TYRIOS is that the system already tells you which shipping costs would be incurred with this item when you view it. This function has been further improved so that shipping costs already incurred in the shopping basket are now also taken into account (e.g. when a freight limit is reached). The display is now even more accurate and supports your efforts to fill the shopping basket with several items.
Optimised order completion
Previously, the shopping basket still displayed the items that had just been purchased even after the order had been completed. We have now changed this so that the shopping basket is now empty when the order is completed, giving the customer an additional confirmation that the order has been successfully completed.
