Description:
TYRIOS supports the definition of users and clients. A user is a person who can log on to the system himself. He or she therefore classically has a first and last name as well as an e-mail address. However, the master data of a user can include much more data. This includes
- A user ID: this is unique and allows the user to be identified, e.g. with a customer card.
- A date of birth: with the date of birth, the user can have his password recreated.
- Any number of addresses
- SEPA information for direct debit and bank transfers
- And much more.
TYRIOS basically allows users to register themselves in the system. However, it is also possible to enter the user data yourself via the master data administration.
Solution:
- As a user with extended rights, go to the customer area > User administration.
- Here you will find a button "Create user" or "Manage user". The latter offers you a tabular overview of all existing users. You can sort and filter them flexibly. You can also create a new user via the "New" button in the menu bar.
- This takes you to the user editor. This comprises two columns.
- The left column contains basic data of the user
We will go into the details in a moment. - The right column contains extensive additional data of the user. This includes company and contact information, address data and more. We'll get to this later, too.
- The left column contains basic data of the user
- When you have entered all the data, you can save the user. The user is active immediately.
User types
TYRIOS supports three different user accounts:
- Blank user: We don't know anything concrete about this user and he must first enter his data when he logs in for the first time. The login is usually done via a QR code or a direct login link.
- Guest user: We usually know the name and email address of this user. However, the user cannot log in to the system himself because he has not yet stored a password. A guest user is created automatically in the ordering process, for example. He can log into the system via a QR code or a direct login link (e.g. via the newsletter).
- Full user: This user has stored a password and his date of birth. He can log into the system himself.
Basic data
The basic data includes the classic contact data of a user.
- the title of the person (e.g. Dr., Prof., ...)
- the first name
- the surname
- the e-mail address - it is optional. If it is not stored, the user cannot be reached by e-mail.
- the user ID - this is a 15-digit alphanumeric character string to identify the user. It is automatically generated by the system, but can be pre-filled if you have ready-printed loyalty cards, for example.
- User type - if nothing is selected, the user is automatically a full user. As a full user, further data is necessary. This includes a unique user name (with which your user can log in), a password and the date of birth.
- You can determine whether the user is informed by e-mail. Please note that the e-mail will only be sent if a mail template has been stored.
Extended user data
If required, you can enter further information about the user:
- In the profile you can specify how the person is to be addressed by e-mail or basic contact information such as telephone, company,...
- In the settings you can define which languages are active for the user (this only applies to multilingual systems), which user group the user belongs to (and therefore which rights he or she has) and to which posting account receipts are to be posted.
- With the API settings you can enable basic properties for the use of the API for the user.
- Via the tab "Customer data" you can assign the user to an existing customer or create a new customer directly.
- With the addresses you can store as many addresses as you want directly in the master data. This makes your administration easier later on.
- Via the contact tab you can store further contact information.
Depending on the system configuration, you can see and store further information and additional tabs.
