Enable Ident Management
Description:
With the ident management integrated in TYRIOS pim, it is possible to track the CV within your company at product instance level.
Ident management must be activated at product level.
Please note
If ident management is activated, stock movements are only possible if an ident number is specified. If you already have a stock level for an item, book these items out first and enter them again after the change.
Solution:
- As a user with extended rights, go to the customer area > Product management > Manage products
- Search for the desired product and click on "Edit product" in the line menu
- Click on the "Stock" tab.
- Click on the "Activate ident management" checkbox. Note that ident management is only possible for stockable items
- Specify whether the serial number, the import number, an external ID number or an expiry date must also be stored
- Specify whether a customer asset should be automatically created for the corresponding customer when the product is purchased.
- Save the product
