Using the order status feature, you can automatically notify your customers about the shipment of their order. You just need to set up status and an email template.


Create order status

First, let's create an order status to mark the shipped order.

  1. Go as user with extended rights to the customer area > order management > edit order statuses
  2. All order statuses will be displayed. Divided into the primary statuses "Draft", "In progress" and "Completed". Go to the primary status "In progress" and select the "+" button. A new secondary status will be inserted.
  3. Enter an appropriate name for the new secondary status as "Name", e.g. "Shipped". Note that your customer can see this name.
  4. Click on "Save" at the very bottom.

Save e-mail template

TYRIOS will automatically notify your customer about the status change if you have stored an appropriate email template.

  1. Go as user with extended rights to the Customer Area > System > Manage Mail Templates
  2. All mail templates supported by the system will be displayed. Now search for the template "Order status 'In process: [Your status]". Click in this line on "Edit mail template".
  3. Now store the desired e-mail template and click on save.

Send individual shipping notification.

If you have done the shipping manually, it may be desirable to send the customer a manual link or shipping number for tracking purposes. In this case, it is not desirable for TYRIOS to send the mail automatically, but you want to intervene manually. Then you proceed as follows:

  1. Go as user with extended rights into the corresponding order.
  2. You will see the current job status in the upper left corner.Status-Wechsel direkt aus dem Auftrag heraus
  3. Deactivate the setting "autom. mail dispatch". TYRIOS will not send any e-mails automatically.
  4. Change the status to your set "sent" status. This will set the status.
  5. Scroll down and click on the tab "Mail communication".
  6. Click on the button "Create mail". An e-mail form will appear.
  7. Next to the subject you will find a drop-down. Select the desired status template here.Mail-Vorlagen k├Ânnen individuell angepasst werden.
  8. The template will be loaded into the e-mail editor and can be customized immediately.
  9. Click on "Send". The email goes directly to the customer and is archived in the system.
