
How to create a Contact-page?
For many of you, the contact page seems to be a secondary construction site. Okay, it's not exactly rocket science, but you should still consider a few important things. Because often the contact page is the only direct touchpoint between your site visitors and your business.
This is your big chance to interact with your customers and take the first step towards conversion. You have several possibilities to show your personal profile and to convince your customers. Be funny. Be creative. Tell your story.
What must be on a contact page?
The company address, telephone number and general email address must be mentioned.
If you have a shop, showroom or factory outlet with an address that differs from the company's headquarters, you should of course also include this on the contact page.

It also makes sense to include a link to Google Maps so that users can easily calculate how long it will take to get there.

Introduce contact persons
From a certain company size onwards, it is advisable to introduce the employees responsible for individual, customer-relevant areas. Example: I can ask Ms. X about the status of my order, and Mr. Y can deal with complaints.
Social media presence
It is best to link directly to your social media channels, which can also be an integral part of the footer. Don't forget: Social media does not only mean Facebook and Instagram, but also Linkedin, Xing and Whatsapp, among others.
Chatbot
A chatbot is worthwhile if your site visitors have a high demand for information about your offer. You can also offer a chatbot purely for customer service, e.g. by anchoring the customer or order number as a mandatory field to fill in. The chatbot should also include the office hours.
Call to Action
Of course, the contact page is an excellent instrument to place a CTA (Call to Action). This can be a "Call now" button with instant dialing function or an "Order catalogue now" call that leads to a landing page where the interested guest can leave contact details.
Contact form
The classic: Visitors to your website contact you via a simple form. They have to leave contact details, but you should limit yourself to asking for name and email address. Collecting too much data at the first contact - that scares some people off and doesn't have to be the case.
By the way, you don't need consent to protect user data in the sense of the DSVGO here, as the initiative comes from the person asking the question.

Your expo depends from visitors. You will have the greatest possible success if you already know your visitors, at least by name and e-mail address in connection with the invitation.
