Macro: Image gallery
Questions:
- What does the "Image Gallery" macro do?
Description:
The "Image gallery" macro supports you in the realisation of sophisticated, responsive gallery views. The system automatically generates the necessary image files in the appropriate image size. The view adapts automatically to the available screen size. The gallery also integrates a full-screen view that allows your images to be conveniently viewed in high resolution.
To integrate a gallery into your content management page, select the "Image gallery" macro from the menu bar. A dialogue window appears in which you can configure your gallery:

The following functions are available:
- Here you will find all the selected images in your current image gallery. You can easily remove the images from the gallery using the "x" symbol. The order of the pictures depends on the selection order of the pictures.
- You can select new / additional images using the "Select images" function. An additional dialogue window with the TYRIOS media library will appear. This gives you centralised access to all media data stored in the system. You can select several images at the same time in the dialogue.
It is also possible to select the "Select images" function multiple times and thus select images from different folders in your media library. This means it is not necessary to structure the images in the media library in advance. As usual, moving an image in the media library has no effect on the image gallery. The assignment is recognised automatically. - You can set the number of images per line individually. The first number reflects the number of images for desktop displays, the second number for mobile devices (mobile phones). The images adapt automatically to the actual screen size available.
- Select the background colour of your gallery using the colour selector. All images are provided with this background colour accordingly in order to achieve a uniform display for different image formats.
