Product overview

In TYRIOS, there are basically two different ways of managing your own product range. It is generally advisable to use both mechanisms, as both have their advantages.

Administration from the customer's point of view

TYRIOS relies on comprehensive but flexible rights management from the ground up. This allows it to offer users the functions they are authorised to use at all times. Of course, this also applies to administrative purposes. In this way, as an administrator, you have the option of directly editing an article on every category overview, in every search result, on every landing page and wherever products are displayed in the form of product streams.

This approach has several advantages. The biggest and, in our opinion, most important advantage is that you get to know your product range from the customer's perspective. If you browse through your product range like a normal customer, you will quickly recognise whether your product range is clear and transparent. After all, you may have to rummage through thousands of items to find the right product quickly.

• Are suitable product filters offered to quickly narrow down the product range?
• Are the product filters offered implemented sensibly?
• Is the category system sensibly implemented? Are there alternative paths to the desired product depending on the customer's needs?
• Are relevant accessories well linked? Are similar articles correctly positioned? Have you linked to relevant products in the blog or is relevant blog and product information correctly linked in the product?

Thanks to the customer view, you automatically optimise your product range - not only for the customer, but also for your search engine optimisation (SEO).

Tabular administration

TYRIOS does not have a classic backend, as all functions depend on the rights you have as a user. Nevertheless, there is a tabular administration of your products, as you may be familiar with from other shop and merchandise management systems. Provided you have the appropriate rights, you can find this in the customer area > Product management > Manage articles.

You will receive a tabular list of all articles. You will also find this tabular overview with customised columns in many other areas of TYRIOS. The use is equivalent:

1. Here you will find important functions for your product management
   1. New: creates a new product. You are taken directly to the product editor.
   2. Print: Prints the current view with all currently active columns and taking into account the current sorting and filters.
   3. Export: Exports the current view with all currently active columns, taking into account the current sorting and filters. You will receive an Excel file.
   4. Import: Depending on your installation, different importers are available here to import data from external data sources / systems
2. The table heading determines the sorting of the table. It can be sorted by any number of columns at the same time.
3. Corresponding filter functions are available for almost all columns. The items displayed are updated in real time as you enter them
4. The actual data view of your items. Here you have the option of editing the data directly from the overview. You do not necessarily have to go to the product editor to do this. This is only necessary for more complex changes.
5. Here you specify which item data should be displayed as columns. Please note that not all data can be displayed as columns. This is mainly due to the fact that your data is multidimensional and cannot be displayed in a table.
