How do I create and manage classic pages?

TYRIOS has an integrated content management system with which you can realise and manage classic web pages. Each page of the content management system is completely free in its presentation. A WYSIWYG(What You See Is What You Get) editor is available on every page for editing the content.

Basics

In TYRIOS, we differentiate between the "content management system" for managing classic websites and other functions for editing structured data structures (e.g. product data). When we talk about content management systems, we mean the completely free editing of a content page in the form of a classic website. The administration of product data, events, etc. is not to be understood under the term "content management system".

Each page of the content management system is located within a tree structure with the start page as the root. Starting from the start page, you can create sub-pages for each page and change their order.

The administration of the content management pages depends on your user rights. The system administrator can determine which pages you can view and edit and for which pages you can create new subpages.

If you have the appropriate rights, you will see functions at the bottom of each content management page that you can execute. These are

• visit page
• create new subpage: This function creates a new subpage for the current page
• edit : This function takes you to the editor for editing the page
• delete : This function deletes this page and all pages below it
• Move up / down. This function moves the order of the pages in the tree structure.

In addition to the direct functions, a backend administration is also available in the customer area. You can access it under "Customer area" > "Content management" > "Manage pages". All pages stored in the content management system, including the tree structure, are displayed hierarchically.

On the right-hand side, you will find the functions already mentioned displayed with an icon. You can also easily change the page structure using drag & drop. The changes take effect immediately.
